Why I Was Late to Dinner

Well, I tutored algebra this afternoon at FLC which made me feel very good about myself and others. (My math skills did not fall apart until I hit geometry).

Then I walked down to the train station and all h*** broke loose. No train*.

So I went downtown Minneapolis, caught an express down University Ave, got off at Snelling and who should walk around the corner?

Boy-child.

What a pleasant surprise. I got to visit with him all the way into Highland. And then I was fed at the Highland Grill, which is always scrumptious.

And now I'm home. I guess it wasn't so bad that it took over an hour to get back to the 'hood.

*Just for the record, who in their right mind goes around the crossing arm? C'mon!

Only a person with a death wish or zero brain cells devoted to common sense drives around a crossing arm.
