I love close-ups of car details -- how did you know? Especially that last one. Smokey had a Land Cruiser for a number of years in the 80s and 90s. It had been used by a farmer as tractor substitute and was pretty beat up. Sitting in the seats felt like balancing on top of a trash can. But he loved it, and he never got stuck. During the June 1987 flood in south Mpls he went out driving with it; happily, he knew enough not to drive into flowing water.
