Thanksgiving was wonderful. The Girls put on a delicious vegetarian meal (sans tofu, thankyouverymuch). And pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and flags:
The sweater ended up with blue buttons - seven different ones. Most of them were from my grandmother's sewing basket, which Auntie gave to Girl-child a year ago.
It's quite fitted, giving it a dressier look, the t-shirt notwithstanding.
Cruise packing is proving to be more challenging than I had anticipated. How can there be room for clothes? I've cycled through quite a few projects already (I even bought needles for one at The Yarnery the other day but have since decided not to take that one).
Do you think anyone would notice if I wore the same outfit the whole time? Rotated two outfits? Showing here are a Christmas gift, a pair of plain socks, white for Franklin's class, light green for Melissa's class, red for a charity hat and something new that will be a delicious shawl for me :-O
I could take out the socks but that would probably be sick and wrong.
Did I also mention that when I come back I'm starting a new job? I accidentally got a new job … a better one … who knew?

I'm trying to remember where your cruise is going. If it is a warm place, clothes should take up much room. Will you have to *dress* for dinner? That might present problems. All in all, I'd say you have the knitting covered ;-)
"...clothes should NOT take up much room..." Sheesh.
And of course there has to be room for my winter coat ….
No - leave the coat with the person who will pick you up at the airport, and they can bring it. I've done that with friends.
LOL! I don't have any friends … at least no one I would have drive me when it's just a two block walk to the light rail ;-)
