Summer's End ...

I was asked recently what my favorite thing was that I did over the summer.

I responded by saying I didn't do much since I'd had a rough couple of years.

I said that mostly I just chilled with the grandkids and walked around the lake a lot.

Truth be told, I don't really like to go anywhere in the summer. 

It's so nice here in the summer why go anywhere?

FO - Bubble & Squeak Cowl (Christmas gift).  The pattern suggested mattress stitch but I did a three needle bind off instead.  It looks great.

Mink Stole

The Mink Stole progresses steadily. I am on schedule again after falling behind in July. I have marked the chart with where I have to be in order for it to be done in time for my December knitting cruise.

And then in an incredible stroke of good luck I found a dress on the clearance rack that will work perfectly (the color of the mink yarn is somewhere between the two photos).

Now all I have to do is find some shoes :D

Should I?

On the train there are notices posted everywhere to not put feet on the seats.

I am always tempted to ask people if they would like help from the Minnesota Literacy Council to learn how to read when they have their feet on the seats.

Should I or shouldn't I?  

They probably wouldn't even understand the passive-aggressive tone :P
